Hey! It's May 1st and Lei Day, actually it's also my mom's birthday, too. She is so fussy because she didn't get a diamond necklace or ring but a camera. Like what's wrong with a camera? So that night at dinner her boyfriend gave her a ring and then she was all happy.

May 5

I went to my May Day program today and I was the Molokai Princess. Alisha Gonsalves was the May Day Queen and she looked beautiful. My May day program wasn't too exciting but at least I got to be Princess of Molokai (Cayla's actual spelling:Princess of Molicia)

May 9

This weekend I went shopping and got a new pair of shoes. Guess what? I got the shoes for $7.99, that's cheaper than Payless. Yes, shoe sales happen every day! My shoes are red and white plaid design and although it was those colors I have an outfit to go with it! And you have to go see Spider Man 3. It is really good, but I can't tell you, you have to watch the movie!

Why is everything so hard these days? I had a contest at Queens. In my first heat I got 2nd and made it through. And it was in the 10-13 age group. there was another girl in my heat and we beat the boys and made it to the repocharge round. In that heat I got 3rd and made it to the finals! In the finals I got 5th but that's still good because I was the only girl in the finals, so give me some credit. Yes, I was happy...

Kelly's Journal (Cayla's step-sister): Last weekend Cayla and I were in a surf contest. Cayla was in the 10-13 division and I was in the 9 and under division. cayla made it through to the finals and placed 5th. I placed 1st in my heat. there were 2 other boys in my heat and Cayla had 5 others in her finals! If I was in her heat I would be as scared as a little chicken! When we had the awards ceremony, Cayla couldn't make it so I had to stand next to all the boys. I was so scared I could've shrunk or dissapeared into thin air!
