This weekend my dad, sister, and I went to Maile Point on the West side to help clean up the beach. It was really hot but worth it. We filled up several trash bags and after that we ate a nice lunch. We gave away some of our old stuff to a homeless family on the beach. They were so happy! It felt so good to watch them open and look through all the stuff we had given them! My grandpa is finally home and relaxing. My doctor refuses to take out my stiches so I have to wait until Wednesday to go surfing again. I am getting really anxious! Here is some info on the beach clean up: Maili Point Adopt-a-Park program. We do cleanups on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30am - 11:30am. We serve food to volunteers and those living on the beach afterwards.
