REPORTING FROM COOLANGATA, QUEENSLAND, ASTRALIA: This trip is absolutely amazing! Time is flying by so quickly. Everyday my dad and I try to beat the sun to the beach as well as everyone else. Right now it is summer in Australia so the days are really long. First light is around 4:50 am or so, pretty early, huh? We have been walking everywhere, which is totally awesome. We are staying at the Rainbow Bay Resort, second floor ninth unit. We have a great view of Snapper from our room, which is only a block away.

Coco has spent a few nights with us and we’ve been having a great time! Coco is the greatest friend anyone could ever have and I definitely don't know what I'd do without her. Coco has been the gossip monster. She has been telling us all sorts of crazy stories. Coco has been ripping, as usual! We played spoons yesterday afternoon. Coco, my dad, Aunty Katie, and myself were battling it out. Whoever lost three games had to go surfing with zinc on their face. The zinc had to say, “Go [surfer of your choice!]” Of course with my luck I lost and am awaiting the embarrassing surf.

The food is fantastic! Every morning except for the last few I have been enjoying a beautiful bowl of Weet-Bix, the breakfast of a champion. Ha! Ha! It tastes so good with bananas, milk, and a lot of honey. Coco and I finished a whole bear of honey in five days.

We saw the Hendy’s the other day and it was so nice to see them again. We went over to Trevor’s house the other night to celebrate TJ’s 12th birthday. We ate lots of meat! The best part was the ice cream cake. MMM! MMM! Before we left Aunty Bev gave us a gigantic bag of candy to take home, GIGANTIC! The Hendy’s have been coming down to the beach to watch me surf everyday and it has made me feel so special. They are truly really wonderful people and they can make anywhere feel like home!
