REPORTING FROM COOLANGATA, QUEENSLAND, ASTRALIA: The contest has been going well! However I don’t feel like I’ve reached my peak yet. Sally and Laura were in the trials with me as well. Both of them surfed brilliantly. I got lucky and won the trials and made it into the main event. I am so stoked! I surfed against Layne twice and had a great time with her. She is a really nice lady. I got lucky again and again and made my heats. I am now in the quarterfinals with Megan Abubo. Totally excited and looking forward to everything! I think I have been surfing pretty average. I want to blow up and really show everyone what I can do!

The waves and weather has been be-a-utiful! There was a cyclone warning in affect but now I think its been called off. Glassy off shore winds and long barreling waves; it is truly a dream come true! Today is Sunday March 4th, 2007. This afternoon we are supposed to be flying home, but because they haven’t finished the contest we get to stay a few extra days! Cool, hey? I get a couple more days off of school, rock’in! That reminds me I should get some of my homework done before I get back, what do you think? See ya.
