Today was the first day of the NSSA Nationals at Salt Creek. The conditions were on the small side and it was a bit windy, but still fun. I surfed the Explorer Woman Round 1 Heat 1. I had a bit of trouble in my heat. I was nervous and I kept trying to force my manuevers instead of just trying to flow with the wave. Despite everything it worked out alright and I advanced. I am nervous for tomorrow but amped! I think my dad and I are going to head down to the beach really early before the contest and catch a few waves. Then we are going to come home, rest, and head back down to the beach later on for my heat. Wish me luck!

Guess what? This morning when I was in the garage (at the house we are staying at) I found a... GOLF CART! Oh my gosh! I know, so fun, yeah? Well I got to drive it to our friend's house, the Millers. Their house is only two blocks away from where we are staying. They are so nice. I love them. Driving was so much fun. I only wish the cart could drive a little faster. It only drives about 5 miles per hour. Ha! Ha! I just woke up from a nap and my dad and I are going to get a quick bite to eat. Yippie!
