After the X Games finished my dad and I decided to go to Huatulco and stay for a couple of days so we could surf the secret spot that pretty much everyone's heard about. The drive from Puerto Escondido was spectacular, lush and green. We stayed in a really nice hotel about half an hour away with a couple of friends.

The drive to the surf spot was crazy. The road was so twisty and bumpy, I felt like puking. My tummy and I had a hard time handling it all. But when we finally turned around that last bend we couldn't believe our eyes. We saw a beautiful point break peeling all the way to the beach. It was amazing! The whole scene was a dream come true. It was unbelievable.

We surfed out there twice before we had to catch a plane home. It had to be one of the best waves I have ever surfed. It was like a Snapper sort of a wave but better because only seven other people were out. It was so sick! I am definately stoked!
