My family and I are in Japan. This moring we woke up really early. Nothing was open at that time so we walked around the garden in the back of our hotel for a while. We ate breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. It was yummy! Toyo from ratio fins picked us up at around 8 and we drove to Mt. Fuji. The drive from our hotel in Akishima to Mt. Fuji took an hour and a half. It was really long! Plus the drive seemed even longer because I had to pee the whole time. Half way through the drive we had to make a pit stop at a nearby bathroom.

When I ran into one of the stalls I ran into a little suprise. It was definately not what I expected. There was a hole in the ground. OMG! I know. It was weird. On the way to Mt. Fuji we drove through beautiful rice feilds, passed by a vineyard, and drove through a 3 mile tunnel. When we finally arrived at Mt. Fuji we couldn't see much. As we drove up the mountain the clouds began to disspear and we could see all the way to the top. There was a little bit of snow on the top but not as much as in all the pictures. Everything was green and lush. On the drive back we stopped by the Kawaguchi river. It was magnificent. Later on that evening we all caught the train and went out to dinner. It was really neat. It was the first time I ever rode a real train. Pretty fun!
