Guess what? Today is my 14th birthday! I had the best birthday ever!! I spent my birthday weekend with my dad at an NSSA contest at Lahaina Harbor, Maui. We had a lot of fun! I got to spend my birthday with all my friends at the beach, hang out and surf. After the contest on Sunday, I returned home on the 4:30pm flight and ate dinner with my mom, sister, grandparents, and uncles. My mom was so nice and she put up balloons, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARISSA” letters on the window, and she made a beautiful guava cake. It was delicious! I had a great birthday and I was glad I got to spend it with both of my parents.
