This past week I competed in the Billabong Junior Pro at Kewalo Basin. The waves were small and it was a little inconsistent but when the waves came it was a lot of fun. In the semi-finals and the finals they changed to the man on man format for the first time in the girls division. The new format was challenging but I tried my best. I made it to the finals with Coco Ho, one of my best friends. I was so excited that I got the opportunity to surf with her in a man on man final. The final was half an hour long. Coco surfed amazing in the final and she won the event. I am super stoked for her! Well I thought this contest was a great experience and I hope that maybe one day Coco and I will be able to surf together again in a final. Congratulations Coco!!!
