I went back to the North Shore this weekend to surf in a NSSA contest at Sunset Beach. Only it was small Sunset Beach. We surfed the inside called Val's, the spookiest thing about Val's is that it is SUPER shallow on the inside. Really shallow.

I edned up breaking my back fin off of one of my favorite boards in one of my heats. Not too good!
