Before I start - these are my NSSA friends (left to right) Coco Ho, Ashley Hunter, Alana Blanchard, Bethany Hamilton, and me. We're all at a contest on the Big Island for this photo.

This weekend we went surfing at Kaisers and Kewlaos. At Kewalos we had a good surf and I saw Ezekiel Lau ripping even more than I remember. (Check his wave in the video section) He's going to be hard to beat at Nationals, and he's only 9.
Then on Saturday and Sunday I surfed Kaiser's and guess who I saw? John John Florence. It was pretty cool, I ended up learning a lot and seeing what I was up against at Nationals. Between John John and Ezekiel, I've got a tough road ahead . . .

Oh, and you see Ashley up there, she's going to be at Nationals for Mini-groms and she rips, too.
