Whew! What a week! Right after the Hawaii Team trials, I went off to school camp for a week. So no surfing, just hiking, swimming, rock climbing, camp fires, cooking, you know camp stuff. And it was so much fun!

Then when I got back on Friday, my dad picked me up and after about an hour nap we flew to Kona for my first NSSA contest of the season. I did four events including Open Boys! I took two second places, one fifth, and one ninth. I'm not supposed to tell anyone how I did in the boy's events because I can't do them anymore. Oh, well. But let me tell you, it was fun surfing with the boys because they rip! John John and Albee were doing such huge airs! I need to keep practicing!!!
