Something really bad has happened to one of my very close friends, Bethany Hamilton. Today, Friday, October 31, at about 8:00 am she was attacked by a shark. She lost her arm and is not in good condition.

So, if you could please send an email to support her I really think she would like that. Please pray for her.

The website main goal is for exposure, a lasting exposure that continues to grow. Not just local exposure, but exposure that reaches across the country and the world. The website will also help to get financial contributions for medical expenses, prosthetics, education, etc. People will also be able to donate through FHB by the beginning of the week and also through Hanalei Surf Company. Maybe even through pay pal on the website. Through the website people can get online daily or by daily to read about how Bethany is doing. They can then tell their friends (Remember that movie “Pay it Forward” I tell 3 people and they tell 3 people, and so on, etc.). Bethany’s web site will not only have press releases. But it will have photos and videos. There will be personal interviews posted for people to watch. We’ll have a message board for people to talk about Bethany or to talk about how they can help, to talk about God’s enduring love and hope. There will be a links page to news agencies covering Bethany’s status, Honolulu Star Bulletin, Honolulu Advertiser, etc.
