Today was a very rainy and gloomy day all over the island. A storm system hit and caused the south shore to have bad surf with Kona winds.

But even though the surf wasn't good I had a great day. I got to spend the afternoon with my friend Bethany Hamilton. We had a great time! We went for a surf at Diamond Head and then munched some snacks. She surprised me at how good she surfed. She was catching and riding waves, doing cutbacks and noserides on her longboard. She was amazing and inspiring! Believe it!
